STUDY ON THE SOLID COMPLEXES OF DIVALENT COBALT, NICKEL, COPPER AND ZINC WITH ALKYLPHOSPHONIC ACID MONOESTER

Abstract: The solid complexes were formed in the extraction of divalent metals (Co,Ni,Cu,Zn)from their nitrate solutions by 2-ethylhexyl phosphonic acid mono (2-ethlyhexyl) ester (HEH(EH)P). These complexes have been examined by elemental analysis, magnetic moment measurement and thermal analysis. The infrared spectra bave been investigated for HEH(EH)P-M(Ⅱ)(M=Co,Ni,Cu,Zn). The structures of the complexes have been elucidated.
