Abstract: The effects of normal aliphatic alcohols (C1-C6, and C8) on the demulsifibility of feur demulsifiers(block type polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer) for W/O typee emulsion have been studied. The results show that the addition of alcohols (> 1%)greatly enhances the demulsification and n-amyl alcohol is found to be the most effec-tive.
