AUGER ELECTRON SPECTROSCOPIC STUDY OF THE SURFACE COMPOSTION OF Ti-Ru OXIDE ANODES IN H2SO4

Abstract: Auger electron spectroscopy was used to study the activity loss of DSA (Dimensio-nally Stable Anode) made of Ti-Ru oxide in H2SO4 solution. It is proposed on the basis of the experimental data that under the accelerated life test conditions the loss of DSA activity results from the dissolution of active Ru on the electrode surface.
