Abstract:

Suzuki coupling reaction is one of the most important methods to construct carbon-carbon bond. Recently, potassium organotrifluoroborate salts have emerged as an attractive and promising alternative to organoboronic acids. This article reviews the research progress in the Suzuki coupling reaction of potassium organotrifluoroborates and gives an outlook on the future research direction.
