摘要: 自从Müller等人发现高温超导体并提出超导机理可能与Cu3+/Cu2+混合价态有关以来,人们对三价铜的兴趣大大增加了。X射线光电子能谱(XPS)是研究原子价态的有效工具。但用XPS检测高温超导体中是否存在Cu3+时得到了互相矛盾的结果。在这种情况下记录典型三价铜的XPS谱作为参照很有必要。

Abstract: XPS was used to determine the Cu2p3/2, Ols and Nals binding energies in NaCuO2,CuO, Na2O2 and superconductor YBa2Cu3O~7 and to study the stability of NaCuO2.The chemical shifts of Cu2p3/2 and Ols levels between NaCuO2 and CuO were found to be + 1.2and -0.9eV respectively.NaCuO2 is unstable in moist air.When NaCuO2 was heated at 920℃ with subsequent annealing at 600℃ in air, no Cu3+ were detected.Meanwhile Cu3+ in NaCuO2 was reduced to Cu+ when the sample was heated in high vacuum.
