Kinetics of Isoprene Polymerization with Nd (i-PrO)2Cl-AlEt3 Soluble Catalyst System──Ⅲ.The Chain Transfer to AlET3

Abstract: The chain transfer to AlEt3 in the polymerization of isoprene with Nd(i-PrO)2Cl-AlEt3 has been carried out.The chain transfer activation energy of isoprene polymerization has been found to be 176 kJ/mol in heptane.The results showed that the chain transfer to AlEt3 is very low in this system.
