Abstract: Using strontium acetate and titanium n-butoxide as starting reagents as well as the acetic acid and glycerol as supplementary materials, the perovskite-type SrTiO3 has been prepared by sol-gel process. IR and SEM results show that the acetic acid acts as a chelating ligand, while the glycerol plays a role in control of the drying process of gel.
