CHARACTERIZATION OF GELATION DOSE OF RADIATION CROSSLINKED POLYETHERKETONE BY SHAKE-UP SATELLITE PEAKS IN XPS

Abstract: The gelation dose of radiation induced crosslinked polyetherketone with cardo group(PEK-C) has been characterized in terms of the shake-up satellite peaks in its X-ray pho-toelectron spectrum.It is found that the relative intensity of the shake-up peak of PEK-Cdecreased with increase of irradiation dose.The thus obtained gelation dose value of PEK-C was quite consistent with those obtained by gel content method.
