Abstract: The yield and the composition of the comb-polyether prepared by plasma-initiated poly-merization methoxypolyglycol methactylates were found in dependence on the power of plasmagenerator, the discharge time, the temperature and the time of postpolymerization, the kindof solvent, and the monomer concentration. The structure of the comb-polyether is identicalwith that prepared by radicalinitiated polymerization, but the former has a greater molecularweight and is little crosslinked. The plasma initiated comb-polyether can be plasticized toincrease the ionic conductivity of its lithium salt complexes.
