Abstract: The conditions of the formation of multicomponent complexes of Al, Fe, Sc, with CAS in the presence of mixed surfactant have been studied. These color reactions were found to have high sensitivity and selectivity. The method is very simple, no separation is necessary and it may be used for the simultaneous determination of Al, Fe, Sc in pure rare earth oxides.
