Abstract: The GPC coupling with an automatic capilary viscometer and its application to polymer characterization were described in this paper with particular emphasis on the effects of temperature controlling and wall flow during the measurement. In order to calculate the intrinsic viscosity the following relation has been used:<[η]>∑W_i[η_i] where [η_i] is the viscosity of eluted volume V_i.
