钛基氧化物电极的性能及电化学行为

摘要: 本文研究了某些氧化物中间层对Ti/PbO2、Ti/MnO2、Ti/Co3O4和Ti/CuCo2O4电极性能及电化学行为的影响。结果表明,Ti/MnO2或Ti/PbO2电极在加入Co3O4、PdOx、SnO2或Sb2O3中间层后,界面电阻大大降低。在低于出现电阻极化电流密度时,极化曲线符合Tafel规律(无论对于O2或Cl2,低极化区的Tafel斜率为b1=2.303RT/(1+β)F;高极化区为b2=2,303RT/βF,其中β=0.5)这时主要为电化学极化。对有中间层Sb2O3+PdOx的Ti/PbO2电极和具有中间层SnO2+PdOx的Ti/Co3O4电极,其阳极析Cl2的反应活性与工业用的Ti/RuO2+TiO2电极相近,而氧的过电位则高于Ti/RuO2+TiO2电极。

Abstract: The effects of some oxide intermediate layers on the electrochemical behavior and characteristics of oxide-coated titanium electrodes Ti/PbO2, Ti/Co3O4 and Ti/CuCO2O4 have been investigated.The results showed that the intermediate layers of Co3O4, PdOx, SnO2 and Sb2O3 could markedly decrease the interface resistance of the electrodes. The electrode Ti/PbO2 with intermediate layer of (Sb2O3+PdOx) and the electrode Ti/Co3O4 with intermediate layer of (SnO2+PdOx) showed nearly the same reaction activity for anodic evolution of Cl2 as the industrial electrode consisting of Ti/RuO2+TiO2, but higher oxygen overpotentials than the latter.
